Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for our in-house content creation driving the development, production and management of content across multiple platforms. This role is pivotal in building and supporting AVL’s growth objectives. The Content Marketing Manager will partner closely with Practice Leaders to craft clear, compelling services offering messaging and serve as a key support to multiple sales leaders, delivering dynamic content, tools and collateral that enhances client engagement and generates leads. 

Responsibilities:

  • Equip sales team and Practice Leads with effective tools, content, and materials that drive engagement and support their sales goals & objectives and generates leads
  • Create and deliver high-quality content and collateral to position AVL as a leader in fractional Finance and HR services.
  • Plan, launch and manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, social media, newsletters, video, eBooks, podcasts, and partner-led initiatives.
  • Author eMail campaigns including Prospect, QSO, Event, Client-focused.
  • Leverage strategic and tech partnerships to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate logistics and technical setup for virtual and in-person events.
  • Lead the execution of virtual events, including webinars, podcasts and discussion panels to drive client engagement and promote thought leadership.
  • Collaborate across teams to align marketing strategies, company goals, and regional/vertical objectives. 
  • Utilize HubSpot to track, report, and optimize campaign performance based on data insights.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive positioning and emerging digital tools to drive innovative marketing approaches.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and freelancers.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

The ideal candidate for this role is: 

  • You are an experienced marketer who has effectively supported sales.
  • You have a proven track record with creating & managing content marketing, and digital campaigns that drive demand and generate leads across various platforms (email, social media etc).
  • You thrive on working across multiple stakeholders while establishing trusted relationships.
  • You are an exceptional writer and storyteller with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create clear, engaging and persuasive content.
  • You are curious and enjoy creating engaging content with ease, and bring a collaborative spirit that you seamlessly incorporate into your creative process.
  • You have exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to drive a full and complex content calendar. 
  • You are self-directed with a strong work ethic. You are agile and can pivot quickly. You can effectively prioritize and have impeccable follow-through.
  • Experienced in HubSpot, including campaign tracking, lead sourcing, email automation & data analytics. 

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress) and basic website updates & SEO.
  • Light Design (Adobe Suite & Canva).
  • Google Analytics

 Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing roles, digital marketing or demand generation 
  • Experience in professional services consulting management is preferred
  • Experience with Hubspot 

Compensation

  • Base salary range $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus
  • Benefits: PTO, medical, dental, vision, HSA match (depending on plan), 401k, cell phone stipend
